SME Field Operation

Role & responsibilities

• IOC Enablement: Design and implement strategies to establish and optimize Integrated Operations Centers, enabling real-time monitoring and decision-making across field operations.
• Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in field operations and develop streamlined workflows, leveraging automation, predictive analytics, and industry best practices.
• Technology Integration: Collaborate with technical teams to integrate advanced technologies such as IoT, SCADA systems, and predictive maintenance solutions into existing processes.
• Data-Driven Insights: Utilize data analytics to monitor and optimize operational performance, providing actionable insights to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Operational Leadership: Lead and guide field teams in implementing enhanced operational processes and adopting digital transformation initiatives.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure all field operations comply with environmental, health, safety, and industry-specific regulatory standards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, IT, and HSE teams to align field operations with organizational goals and digital strategies.
• Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in processes and operational technologies.
• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in field operations within the Oil & Gas industry, including process transformation and technology integration.
• Strong expertise in operational workflows, including drilling, production, pipeline monitoring, and maintenance.
• Proven track record of enabling Integrated Operations Centers and optimizing field processes.
• Exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with digital tools and technologies such as IoT platforms, SCADA systems, and AI-powered analytics.
• Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks and environmental standards.
• Knowledge of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives within field operations.
• Relevant certifications such as IWCF (International Well Control Forum), PMP (Project Management Professional), or certifications in digital transformation.
