Roles and Responsibilities:
- The Programme Planner is responsible for planning services to the Harmony portfolio of capital projects as part of the central projects team.
- The jobholder will ensure that policies, procedures and best practice principles are adhered to across all Harmony projects with regards to planning.
- The Programme Planner will be responsible for setting up project master schedules, Basis of Schedule and schedule management plan documents.
- The jobholder will be responsible for the implementation of performance measurement and maintaining the accuracy of all project master schedules that form part of the central projects function.
- The jobholder will be responsible for change management applied to project schedules on all projects
- The jobholder will provide guidance to project contractors, evaluate their schedules and report findings to management.
- The jobholder will prepare early warnings and delay notifications together with the project teams.
- The jobholder will ensure that approved software (P6 and MSP) are utilised in the correct manner and according to Harmony procedures to meet the desired objectives.
- The jobholder will have the ability to conduct delay analysis on project claims and interrogate contractor schedules relating to claims.
- The jobholder will have the ability to align project schedules with project control budgets for earned value reporting purposes.
