Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hair styling and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful hairstyles, providing consultations, and ensuring that clients leave our salon feeling confident and satisfied. You will also have the opportunity to showcase your skills in various beauty services, including eyelash extensions and nail care.

Responsibilities

• Provide hair styling services including cuts, colors, and treatments tailored to client preferences.
• Perform eyelash extensions and hair extension applications as requested by clients.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and tools in compliance with health regulations.
• Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling and client management.
• Upsell additional services and products to enhance the client experience.
• Mentor junior stylists and assist in training new team members when necessary.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling, barbering, and beauty treatments.
• Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Skills

• Proficient in hair styling techniques with a creative flair for design.
• Experience in barbering is a plus, demonstrating versatility in service offerings.
• Knowledge of eyelash extensions, hair extensions, and nail care services is highly desirable.
• Strong upselling skills to promote products and additional services effectively.
• Familiarity with salon software such as MINDBODY for efficient operations.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
• Ability to mentor others, fostering a collaborative environment within the salon.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of sanitation and hygiene practices.

Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
